5 Daily Habits for a Successful, Impactful Day – Fidgey Ray Boutique

Hey, fellow boss babes! I'm Katie, the owner of Fidgey Ray Boutique. Today I wanted to give you a quick dose of inspiration. Here are 5 Habits that you can implement TODAY to have a more successful day. 

 

As business owners, we are always being pulled in 100 directions. It's really easy to lose track (or forget) how we have found success in the past. Here are seven quick practices for female business owners to have more success every day.

1. BREATHE.
Over the past few weeks, I've been implementing a breath practice for just a couple of minutes a day. This has made a huge difference in my stress levels and perspective. 2. Do a quick stretch.
Right when you wake up and just prior to going to bed, take 3-5 minutes to stretch and unwind. This helps put your body and mind at a more energetic state before the day begins and a more restful state before sleep. This is your time to yourself. Take it. I guarantee you'll see a huge difference automatically!
3. Prioritize your goals!
As business owners, moms, wives, and all of the other roles we carry, it's easy to think EVERYTHING is a top priority. Here's the hard truth babe: it's not. It can't be. When you write down your to-do list for the day, put a 1, 2, or 3 next to each one. 
The 1 represents things that absolutely need to happen that day. The 2 represents tasks that should happen, but the world will still go on if they don't. And number 3 represents all of those tasks that we want to accomplish, but could be moved to the next day with no real negative repercussions. This little practice has been a huge game-changer for me and has helped me prioritize my day and put things into perspective. 10/10 recommend!
4. Take a quick walk as a break. 
Instead of turning to your phone or your computer as a break, get outside for 10 minutes and take a walk. It's been scientifically proven that just walking outside helps you renew your energy, give your brain a break, and ignite creativity.
5. Journal
As I've said a couple of times in this blog, perspective is your key to a successful, impactful day. Starting your day off with a quick journal practice can ground you, help you set your goals and intentions for the day, and start your day off with gratitude and positivity.
