It's hard to maintain our diets in the fall and winter months. Let's face it - all we want to do is eat all the comfort food we can get our hands on and the holiday parties make it especially hard to resist. I mean, come on, there are 2 entire holidays basically dedicated to candy and food (we're not complaining about Halloween and Thanksgiving though, trust me). So what do we do after a cheat day (or 5)? DETOX.
I like to start my day with a filling, healthy, delicious juice. If you're not into "juicing" and are just looking to switch up your normal morning OJ routine, we've got you covered with this simple, 5-minute, healthy and delicious detox juice recipe. It's my go-to for when I just feel a little off and I want to kickstart my body. So without further ado, here's the recipe!
-2 whole beets
-3-4 carrots (totally optional)
After washing, combine all of the ingredients in a juicer. Start with the beets and lemons, so the rest of the fruits will push them through!
